BSP and metric hydraulic adapters and reducing nipples
A hydraulic adapter connects two thread types or sizes, for example a BSP port to a metric connection. CobaltFlex offers straight fittings, screw-in fittings, nuts and rings in BSP, metric and BSP-metric versions. Each part number shows both thread sizes and the volume price.

ViewSelection and application
Hydraulic adapters connect components with different connections or dimensions. Identify the thread standard, thread size and required connection on both sides. Check whether an internal or external thread is needed and how the connection seals. The dimensions of the first and second connections may differ.
CobaltFlex groups adapters by thread type and subcategory. Product groups bring related versions together, while the reference table contains the actual dimensions of each item. For products with two threaded connections, the first and second thread sizes are shown separately. This lets you compare both ends rather than relying only on the group name.
Always compare the specifications of the exact reference with your installation. The same nominal size does not mean that thread profiles, seals and connections are interchangeable. If in doubt, have the combination of hose, fitting and ferrule checked before assembly. A product name alone is not enough to establish technical suitability.
Business orders have a minimum quantity of 5 pieces. Quantity tiers start at 5, 10, 50 and 100 pieces; amounts are displayed after login. A reference without a positive price is available on request. Include the part number, required quantities and application in your quotation request to identify the correct component.
Frequently asked questions
- Where are prices displayed?
- Prijzen en staffels zijn zichtbaar na inloggen met uw zakelijke account.
- How do I choose the correct size?
- Compare the hose size and both connection sizes separately with the exact reference specifications. Contact us if you are unsure about your application.
- How do I identify the thread type of my fitting?
- Meet de buitendiameter (buitendraad) of kerndiameter (binnendraad) en de spoed, en bekijk de dichting. De identificatietool helpt u stap voor stap.
- Which crimp ferrule fits my hose?
- The ferrule must match the number of steel layers (1SN, 2SN, 4SP, 4SH) and the hose size in DN.
- What is the difference between medium and high pressure?
- Medium pressure is for hoses with 2 steel layers, high pressure for hoses with 4 to 6 steel layers.
- What does “swivel nut” mean?
- A rotating female-thread nut that lets you tighten the fitting without twisting the hose.
- What is the minimum order quantity?
- 5 pieces per reference, with volume prices at 5, 10, 50 and 100 pieces.
